white Nights

You can experience very late sunset and very early sunrise around the summer solstice. There is no complete darkness during the nights either. These nights are called ‘white nights’. Many enjoy the white nights sitting at the bank of Neva in St Petersburg waiting for bridge lifting. The mainperiodbegins in late May, and end in the end of July, but before and after this period you can enjoy very long days, with short nights also.
