Region

The Capitol of Austria, which is an autonomous province itself, is a real cultural metropolis. There are always high quality concerts, popular exhibitions and well-known musical sin Vienna. The romantic imperial city is also rich of historical memories and sights. The Giant Wheel and the largest amusement park of Austria called Prater are specially mentioned beside the Hofburg, the Schönbrunn Castle, the Stephansdom, the Belvedere and the Opera House.

The hotel right next the Old-Danube has excellent public transport connections, the subway station is only 200 meters away.

The double rooms all have a bathroom, hair-dryer, telephone, TV and internet connection.

Vista opinion: the simple and modern hotel at the Alt-Donau backwater of Danube is located in an average suburban district of Vienna, but thanks the subway, it is very easy and fast to get to the city’s sights. It can thank its reasnable price for not being int he city center. The rooms funrished by IKEA are just right, especially for staying only for 1-2 nights.

Program:

1st day: we leave Budapest departing from Hősök tere int he early morning by bus. Arrivel in Vienna at ~10.00 am. After a ~3 hours citytour we make a lunch break, and have free program int he afternoon. At ~17.00 we travel ont o the hotel.
2nd day: after breakfast our Hungarian guide takes us to an alternative city tour, during that we visit places those are not seen on a regular tour: the Zoo, de House of the Sea, Prater, int he evening the group leaves together to the Octoberfest ((Wiener Wiesn 2012), where we can wath the live music show from our tables. Our table is reserved between 15.00-18.00. The price of the program includes a 5EUR coupon, that can be redeemed for food consumption.
