What can I carry on the plane?
Due to the stricter security measures, a new safety regulation has come to effect regarding fluids to be carried on board, which covers soft drinks, gels, ointment, aerosol, toothpaste, shaving foam, hair gel, lipbalms and facial cremes.
You can carry on any fluids only in a bottle which is 100 ml or less. You can carry on more pieces of such little bottles, vials or jars, if they can fit into a small, transparent plastic bag, the capacity of which might not exceed one liter. Only one piece of that plastic bag can be taken per passenger. The plastic bag has to be re-sealable, it can be any kind of: self-sealing, or sealed by a string or by zip. It also has to be easy-to-open.
From the above regulation only two exceptions exist: baby food or medicine, in a reasonable amount for the flight time.
On European airports, or European airlines it is still allowed to buy tax-free products after passport control. Fluids or gels bought ont he airport or on board, will be packed and stamped, if needed so. That stamp is valid for 24 hours. Fluids have to be shown separately at security check.
Also coats, overcoats and bigger electric goods (ie. laptop) have to be shown separately at security check as well.
